FRIK E FROK
Scroll down for English – faites glisser pour la version française

Questi divertentissimi stuzzichini possono accompagnare aperitivi e antipasti.

Eccoli qua! Divertenti vero?

 FRIKS  AND FROKS

These are amazing appetizers and on Retra they are considered very funny for they wriggle and rubble on their trays and Dost is explaining to us why.
On Retra there is a special fruit called springer-bouncer, it’s round and has a red skin with blue dots. It looks very, very quiet hanging from its tree but, as soon as you pick it up, if you don’t pay attention… there it goes, out of your hands bouncing like a ball. It might sound weird to you  but the fruits keep their ability to bounce and wriggle even when Retrans cut them into pieces. Fortunately the little pieces can’t jump very high  so it’s easy to keep them on a tray. They are fun to watch though, and they enlighten the whole table.
It would be nice to have springer-bouncers on Earth, but we don’t so let’s use outrpears and our imagination, it’s going to be fun too!

Ingredients

100 g. (3,5 ounces) of  tasty cheese (you may use any kind of non creamy cheese)
1 springer-bouncer
Some toothpicks
The juice of half a lemon
One glass of  water

Squeeze the lemon and put it with the water into a bowl.

Peel the pringer-bouncer and then cut it into pieces

Put the pieces into the bowl with the lemon and water to prevent the fruit to become dark

Cut the cheese into pieces of about the same size of the pieces of fruit.

Dry the pieces of fruit with a clean cloth.

Stick the toothpicks first into the pieces of cheese, then into the pieces of fruit

Put the friks and froks on a tray.

Here they are, aren’t they amusing?
